Cadence Bank | Houston Headquarters

Cadence Bank’s new Houston headquarters, installed early 2022, was a partnership between the A+D firm lnventure and Business Interiors.

Over the course of two years, the Bl team established furniture and modular wall standards for our Cadence Bank’s new corporate headquarters, three and a half floors at Park Towers in Houston designed to accommodate their 250 employees. The client’s strategic decision to move to Park Towers offered them enhanced efficiencies, more opportunities for collaboration, greater visibility, and cost savings.

With this move, Cadence Bank has a more dynamic and agile office, giving their associates more flexibility in how they work and fostering teamwork with more collaborative spaces, both formal and informal. The new space is also more reflective of their company culture.

Molecular Designs

Business Interiors proudly worked on the new headquarters for Birmingham-based Molecular Designs. In collaboration with Williams Blackstock Architects, BI provided all wall, millwork, and furniture solutions.

Molecular Designs, a biotechnology research firm, needed a dual solution. They required a corporate office space for their staff, including all the usual office components. Additionally, they needed a Falkbuilt Ltd. wall solution, complete with millwork, to create airtight, pressurized, and smoke-tested lab spaces—all within the same footprint. The result was a 25,000-square-foot corporate office and lab combination: a world-class facility offering long-term flexibility.

Architectural Walls for Specialized Labs
Utilizing new design-build technology and our exclusive partnership with Falkbuilt, our architectural products and furnishing design teams provided a full solution for the client’s walls and millwork. This ranged from private offices and meeting areas to airtight accommodations for their lab spaces. To protect against the medical testing performed in each bay, for example, lab walls include sliding doors with locks and cabinets with solid-surface tops, slow-close drawers, and thermally fused laminate.

Modern Corporate Environment
The office design supports collaboration and employee focus. Arriving guests are greeted by a steel reception desk facing a café with bar and lounge seating. This area doubles as both an informal meeting area and a break area for employees. Inside the open office, groupings of workstations interrupt casual lounge and breakout spaces. We furnished these areas with couches, club chairs, and floor lamps spaced throughout the floorplan. Private offices feature glass fronts, and desks incorporate height-adjustable worksurfaces.
