Business Interiors and our own Jack Womack were recognized last week during the UAB National Alumni Society’s (NAS) annual “UAB Excellence in Business Top 25” awards.
Business Interiors is honored to be recognized in the NAS Top 25 as the 3rd fastest-growing company whose revenues are over $10 million, a recognition awarded from a pool of 95 applicants covering 12 states
Additionally, Mr. Womack was presented with a Top 25 award for his integral part in Business Interiors’ ongoing success and growth. He is pictured here accepting both awards from Dr. Catherine Amos, President of the UAB National Alumni Society, and pictured with the other Top 25 award recipients.

Jack Womack joined Business Interiors in December 2018 as the company’s CFO and COO. In his time at BI, Mr. Womack has been instrumental in streamlining operations, hiring new staff, and preparing the company for continued growth. He has since become a Principal of the company.
Mr. Womack began his career as a CPA with the firm Warren, Averett, Kimbrough & Marino from 1985 to 1993. After eight years, he took the position of CFO of Classroom Direct, a position he held until the sale of the company in 2001, at which point he stayed as General Manager until 2004.
In August of 2004, Mr. Womack started Teacher Direct, an online education materials supplier company, and held the position as CEO until the company was sold in 2015. He stayed on for another several years as the company’s GM, overseeing the company’s daily operations.
Mr. Womack has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the UAB Collat School of Business.
