Project Process and Supply Chain Management

  1. Manufacturers have used forecasting tools across their dealer network to enhance the accuracy of predicting customer demand.
  2. Manufacturers engage with multiple suppliers for essential “high-use” materials and components.
  3. BI’s Client Advisor will guide the Design Team in steering away from product lines with a history of consistent delays during the product selection process.
  4. BI’s Project Management Team will communicate daily with manufacturers for each order to monitor progress toward scheduled delivery dates.
  5. BI’s Project Management Team will offer guidance and implement material “holds” whenever feasible to mitigate “out-of-stock” delays.
  6. In cases where schedule preservation is key, BI will recommend clients to consider early shipping and storage options from select manufacturers for critical project items to ensure timely availability for scheduled installation.
