Business Interiors, Inc., a contract furnishings and interior construction firm, announced that it has acquired Office Environments, Inc. in a stock purchase transaction which closed at the end of March 2022. This transaction follows the merger last year of two icons in the contract furniture industry, Knoll and Herman Miller, to form MillerKnoll.

The combination of our talented people and outstanding products will enable us to greatly expand the potential of our two companies, resulting in an enriched experience for all our clients,” says Business Interiors’ President Steve Groover.
Business Interiors will remain headquartered in Birmingham as the two dealerships begin the process of combining showrooms and warehouses throughout the rest of Alabama and the Florida panhandle. During this period of consolidation, and of rebranding Business Interiors, both companies will continue to operate separately to ensure that customer communication remains uninterrupted.
